Guys, I know we all like to call Solas a nerd, but Dorian is the one who spends all of his time hanging around in the library and throwing fits about catalog classification.  When he is not playing chess, complaining about the state of Southern philosophical education, or demanding that your advisers deliver rare manuscripts for research projects.

His painful past with Alexius is pretty typical doctoral student stuff — adviser drama combined with a drinking problem. 

Meanwhile Solas is like don’t mind me, I am just a huge rebel Indiana Jones who falls asleep in dangerous ruins and befriends demons and gives no fucks.  A nerd you say?  Oh whatever.
