meet cumberbear

my sister created this monstrosity because while she was at a friend’s halloween party everyone was discussing actors with weird faces, so benedict cumberbatch came up. somehow, the idea of a cumberbatch plush came about and her friend jokingly said “aw man, i want a stuffed benedict cumberbatch.” (which was later followed with “no. no i really don’t. please, avery, no. please. i really don’t want it.”)

so when this friend’s birthday rolled around, cumberbear was born. my sister planned to finish him a day ahead of her birthday and hide cumberbear in her friend’s house. unfortunately, my sister had the birthday date wrong and had to live with this abomination in her house for a week.

in my sister’s words: “I made him but he might actually be from hell.”
